Be My Guest: Chaqueta de Chándal + Blasser Kyren

To form a group that sounded something between pop, krautrock and punk: this was the plan that Natalia Brovedanni (guitar and voice, ex Santa Rita), Alfonso Méndez (drums, ex lo:muêso) and Guille Caballero came up with (voice and keyboards, ex Els Surfing Sirles). Thus was born Chaqueta de Chándal and their explosive debut "Gimnasia menor" (2019), blessed by the critics and which had placed them in all the festivals that the pandemic took in advance. 

Becoming one of the most charismatic and indispensable groups on the current scene, in 2022 they counterattacked with the bright but at the same time acid "Futuro, tú antes molabas". And in the autumn of 2024 they present their long-awaited third album, "Flema Eterna", in a new edition of the in-house cycle Be My Guest.

Blasser Kyren started in 2018 as a solo project born in the bedroom of Austrian Theobald Hazod. Psychedelia and pop-rock were the basis for a first minimalist, home-produced EP, “Scenes” (Transferans Music, 2019). Soon after, it evolved into a five-piece band, with whom Hazod produced their first LP “Butter & Stress” (Numavi Records, 2021), consolidating a self-proclaimed 'polyrhythmic-psychedelic-dream-pop-rock'.

This year, the band is preparing to present their second album “August Room”, to be released this fall. A dreamy sound that alternates electric guitars, synthesizers and the particular voice of its founder, accompanied by lyrics that speak of everyday dichotomies.

Blasser Kyren 's show is supported by Liveurope, the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote European emerging artists. Liveurope is co-founded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
