Few have been as influential in French dance music as Pedro Winter, aka Busy P. A pioneering DJ and producer who emerged from Paris’s ’90s underground rave scene, former manager of Daft Punk, and founder of the influential Ed Banger Records, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the French electronic music scene for decades.
His childhood friend, DJ Falcon (Stéphane Quême), also helped lay the foundations of French Touch by organizing parties together at the legendary Bains Douches. He is the co-creator of the duo Together, a Grammy-winning collaborator with Daft Punk, and a global ambassador of French Touch through decades of iconic releases and performances.
Joining these two icons at Nitsa next Saturday is Hanakito, known for her eclectic DJ style. Her sets are groovy journeys that blend rare groove, Latin funk, soul, disco and more, with a particular focus on the original sounds of Chicago and Detroit house music.
Born in 1993, in the dawn of electronics, through its cabin have passed names as relevant as Aphex Twin, Todd Terry, Carl Craig, Kenny Larkin, SBTRKT or Ellen Allien in addition to the local DJ Fra, Marc Piñol and DJ Kosmos.
