Els Catarres are largely responsible for the resurgence of festive Catalan pop music. They are a unique and iconic band in our country, having already won a Gold Disc for their album Big Bang, thirteen Enderrock Awards, four ARC Awards and two awards for Catalan Album of the Year from RNE.
Few would hesitate to say that they are the most popular and significant headliners in the history of modern music in the Catalan Countries.
With their music and their energetic and festive live performances, they have become an essential soundtrack for the Països Catalans' programmes and one of the great attractions for the public, having recently sold out the 4,500 tickets for the Sant Jordi Club and the 4,800 tickets for four consecutive dates at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona. In 2025, they released their sixth studio album, Paracaigudistes (Halley Records).
